Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, who represents Kwara North Senatorial District, has joined his colleagues at the National Assembly to mourn the passing of Major General Abdullahi Mohammed Adangba (Rtd).
Describing the late officer as a detribalized Nigerian and true patriot, Senator Umar praised Adangba’s lifelong commitment to national unity and development.

He reflected on the General’s distinguished military career and contributions to Nigeria’s progress, noting that his leadership and integrity left a lasting mark on those who knew him.
The senator offered prayers for the repose of his soul, asking Almighty Allah to grant the late General eternal rest in Aljanat Firdaus.
“May his legacy of selfless leadership continue to inspire generations,” he said.
