The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reaffirmed its commitment to a fair and transparent recruitment process.
In a statement, the board said that all disqualification decisions were made on verified and legitimate grounds. It added that only candidates who meet the required standards will move to the next stage of screening or interviews.
The CDCFIB listed several reasons for applicant disqualification. These include failure to meet minimum qualifications, falsified credentials, incomplete or inaccurate application details, and lack of required experience, education, or certification.
Other grounds for rejection include duplicate submissions, unverifiable or inconsistent identity records, poor reference checks, and findings from external investigations.
The board, through its Training and Development Team in Abuja, said the recruitment exercise remains guided by merit and due process.
