Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Sule Lamido says he has instructed his lawyers to withdraw his case against the Peoples Democratic Party after a meeting with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
Lamido described Makinde as “a noble and peaceful man” and said the governor assured him that all stakeholders would be included in party decisions, regardless of the ruling earlier today by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Lamido said the assurance convinced him to step back from the legal dispute. He added that he now supports the PDP National Convention and wants the process to continue without further tension.
