Former Minister of Transportation, Ibrahim Isa Bio, has refuted reports that he has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party.
Bio said the claims circulating in news reports and on social media are false and not authorized by him or anyone acting for him. He confirmed his resignation from the PDP but said he has not registered with or declared for any political party.
He said the public should disregard any statement linking him to a new political platform. According to him, he is still consulting stakeholders, political associates, and community leaders before deciding on his next step. He added that any decision about his political future will be announced in a clear and formal manner.
Bio thanked supporters in Kwara and across the country for their encouragement. He said his loyalty remains with the people and that he will act with sincerity and fairness as he considers his options.
He urged the media and the public to rely only on information released by his office and to avoid sharing unverified claims about his political plans.
