Residents of Baruten Local Government Area are hailing Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar’s recent visit and the commissioning of several development projects in the area. The projects, which include a mega warehouse for farmers, town halls, and a palace office, are seen as a game-changer for the community.
The Baruten Farmers’ Mega Warehouse in Okuta is expected to reduce post-harvest losses and improve food security. The Yashikira Town Hall and other similar facilities will serve as hubs for community meetings and local decision-making, promoting grassroots governance and unity.
Traditional leaders have welcomed the Ilesha-Baruba Palace Office, saying it reflects respect for their role in maintaining peace and order.
